Individual Sound Bath | 75 minute Reset

Service Description

A private sound experience inspired by the calming atmosphere of a group sound bath, with the added space, comfort and personal attention of a one-to-one session. Held in my peaceful private home studio in Christchurch, these sessions are offered exclusively for women and teenage girls, creating a safe, welcoming and comfortable space where you can simply switch off and be yourself. Alongside my sound therapy training, I’m also a qualified CBT therapist, with experience in creating calm, supportive and compassionate spaces where people can feel at ease. These sessions are not therapy sessions and are not intended to provide psychological treatment. They are simply a dedicated space for relaxation, rest and connection through sound. Your session begins with time to arrive, settle and share anything you’d like to focus on before your sound journey begins. Using the soothing vibrations of Himalayan singing bowls and crystal bowls, together with gentle percussion including Koshi chimes, rain sticks and the beautiful ocean drum, you’ll be gently guided into a deeply relaxing experience. The instruments are played around you, rather than on you, creating a calming soundscape designed to encourage relaxation, stillness and self-connection. Every session is thoughtfully prepared with your comfort in mind. You’ll have a cosy space to settle into, with soft covers, supportive pillows, an eye mask if you’d like one, and water and herbal tea to enjoy. There’s nothing you need to do and no previous experience is necessary. Simply arrive, get comfortable and allow yourself the time and space to relax and be immersed in the beauty and resonance of sound.
