CBT & Mindfulness
"Observe. Reflect. Transform."

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a structured, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that focusses on the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviours. It is based on the idea that unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns can lead to emotional distress and problematic behaviours, and by changing these patterns, we can improve how we feel and act.
Beverley offers face to face and online sessions, as well as innovative 'walk and talk' therapy sessions to ensure you have the flexibility to choose what works best for you. Together, you'll uncover and reshape negative thought patterns, equipping yourself with practical skills to overcome anxiety, depression, and trauma. Embrace a healthier, more balanced life with a refreshing approach that blends nature and meaningful conversation.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
MBCT is a therapeutic approach that combines traditional cognitive behavioural techniques with mindfulness practices. By emphasising present-moment awareness and the acceptance of thoughts and feelings without judgment, MBCT helps individuals manage stress and enhance their overall well-being. As well as gaining improvements in sleep and focus, this mindful practice can also strengthen interpersonal relationships.
MBCT can also be a helpful tool in reducing stress and burnout within the workplace by equipping individuals with strategies to manage stress, maintain clarity under pressure, and cultivate resilience in today's fast-paced environments.

Mindful Movement
Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and engaged in the moment, cultivating awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings without judgment. Mindful movement is the practice of intentionally paying attention to bodily sensations during movement, whilst being guided by the breath. It is a meditative practice that incorporates the movement of the body and can be described as 'breath in action,' which enables a deeper mind-body connection with yourself and your experiences, whilst moving. Mindful movement is accessible and inclusive as each movement can be adapted to the participants needs. Engaging in mindful movement helps calm the both body and mind.
